MGCCC never surrendered the lead after scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. The East Central Lady Diamond Warriors will be back in action to face East Mississippi on Friday. MGCCC managed one run in the seventh, but East Cen tral responded with a run ofits own in the bottom of the inning on an RBI single by Mahalia Gibson out of Oak Grove High School to send the ballgame into extra innings.
