Leake Academy senior Annika Jones signed to play softball with East Central Community College on Friday. The Philadelphia native was an MAIS All-Star for the Lady Rebels this season, helping the team to a 34-5 record and runners-up finish in the Class AAA State Tournament. Jones hit .452 for the Lady Rebels with two triples and two home runs and drove in 23 runs. On the mound, she had an 11-1 record. She is shown with her parens, Deanna and Doug Jones, who is also the softball coach at Leake Academy. On the back row are, from left, Savannah Jones, Joshua Jones, Leake Academy Athletics Director Josh Ray and Hannah Jones.
