East Central's Malik Davis earns MACJC football honors East Central Community College sophomore defensive back Torran "Malik" Davis has been named the Missis sippi Association of Commu nity and Junior Colleges Football Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Hinds Community College Saturday, Oct. 15. Davis, a product of Red Bank (Tenn.) High School had eight tackles and two key in terceptions, including one he returned for ~3 yards for a touchdown. The East Central football team is 4-3 on the season and 4-1 in the MACJC South Divi sion. East Central Plans Halloween themed Events for Oct. 31 The 2016-17 editions of the East Central Community Col lege men's and women's bas ketball _teams will be on display at the annual "Haunted House of Hoops" scheduled for Monday, Oct. 31. Activities begin at 7 p.m. in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building on the De- ยท catur campus.
