I Myers, of Philadelphia, received the honor on Tuesday, April 26. According to UAR, Myers had been virtually untouchable in two starts prior to receiving the honor. Over those two starts, Myers went 14 innings with one run allowed and 24 strikeouts. Myers' record fell to 7-5 on the season as he took the loss to West Alabama Saturday. Prior to Saturday's game, Myers had made 11 starts as a member of the weekend staff with a 3.68 ERA over 63.2 innings. Myers finished the regu lar season with 76 strike outs. During the season, Myers went eight innings and allowed one hit in a win over Montevallo and be hurled a seven-inning, one-run, one- hit gem against Christian Broth ers.
