Bradley grabs three passes for ULL in loss

Fonmer Choctaw County High School standout Ja'Marcus Bradley had a strong debut for the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He had three reception for 50 yards in the Ragin' Cajuns 45-10 season opening loss to visiting Boise State on Saturday. Bradley, who played quarterback for CCHS two years ago and redshirted for ULL last season, was second on the team in receptions. Taboris Lee, also of CCHS, recorded one tackle for the ULL defense.

ULL returns to action Saturday at 6 p.m. when the Ragin Cajuns play host to McNeese State.

Hosket tosses touchdown pass against Memphis

Jesse Hosket, a former French Camp Academy standout, picked up his first collegiate touchdown pass on Saturday when he hit Adrian Davis with an 8-yard strike in Southeast Missouri University's 35-17 loss to Memphis on Saturday. Hosket, who played at East Central Community College last season, hit on 19-of-31 passes for 143 yards as the starting quarterback for the Redhawks. The touchdown pass culminated an impressive 14-play, 82-yard drive.

SEMO is set to visit Southern Illinois this Saturday.
