Mississippi community college tuition changes

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Tuition at two local community colleges will increase for the coming school year.

The increases come as state funding to community colleges falls two percent in the budget beginning July 1. The rates are for the cost of two semesters. Meridian Community College's rate will increase 8.6 percent to just over 2,500. ~st~entral Community College's rate increases four and a half percent to over $2,300. East Mississippi's tuition rate will remain the same.
