Additional hitters were Lavender, double and two singles; Nowell and Turner, each with a double; and Aldous, single. Also recording RBis were Nowell with two and Turner. Runs were scored by Lavender with three, Gib on with two, Turner and Aldous. ECCC will face Marion Military Institute at 1 p.m. Friday in Marion, Ala.

East Central Community Col– lege's Lady DiamondWarriors jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and exploded for seven runs in the second to defeat Alabama Southern Community College 9-0 in Game 1 of a doubleheader Tuesday. ECCC completed the sweep by defeating the Lady Eagles 7-2 in the second game. ECCC now holds an 8-2 overall record. Caitlyn Aldous was the offensive eader for the Lady War riors in tame one. She had a double and .ingle and three RBI.
