With the loss, East Central completed the 2015 season \vith a 14-12 overall record under sec– ond-year bead coach Robert Thompson. The Warriors were defeated 73-64 by Holmes on the ~ississippi College campus in Clinton to end the season. Quinton Campbell, a sophomore guard/fonvard and product of Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile, Ala., had 23 points to lead the War– riors in scoring. Other scorers were Isa– iah Traylor of Tupelo, 16; Kristian Clark of St. Mar– tin and Randy Phillips of J ackson Lanier, each with seven; Prince McDaniel of Pascagoula, six; Monte

Bowie of Morton, fou r; and Derrick Dandridge of White Station High School in Memphis, Tenn., one. Holmes led 33-20 at ECCC advanced to the semifinals when Camp– bell sank a three-pointer with 11 seconds to lift the– Warriors to a 67-64 win over number two s eed Jones in the first round. Campbell fini s hed t h e game with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Freshman guard Isa– iah Traylor ofTupelo High School, was the leading scorer with 17 points. Former Leake Central standout Ravion Henry had 14 points. Other scor– ers included Prince I McDaniel Qf Pascagou la and Randy Phillips of Jackson Lanier, each with six; Demarkus Jones of Terry, five; and Ramone Tate of West Point, three. The game was tied 31- 31 at the half. the half.
