Savell chosen as ECCCWorkforce Education Counselor By ECCC Media Relations

Savell is a graduate of Jones County Junior Col– lege, received her bache– lor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and completed the master's degree in counselor education at Mississippi State Univer– sity.

Savell, who began her new duties on Sept. 8, previously served as clinical services supervisor at the Central Mis– sissippi Residential Center. Her experience also includes serv-

ing as a youth coun– selor with the Mis– sissippi Department of Youth Services, therapist at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, and an el– ementary teacher for the East Central Alternative School.

Jennifer Savell of Cone– hatta was recently se– lected worklorce education counselor at East Central Community College in Decatur, an– nounced Dr. Billy Stewart, college president.
