She was previously employed by the Petal School District and served as an adjunct science instructor at Pearl River Community College. At EC, Denson serves as co-sponsor of Sigma SigmaMuTau. an organization for pre-medicine majors. An honors graduate of Petal High School and Jones County Junior College. Denson received a bachelor of science degree from the University ofSouthern Mississippi and a master ot science degree from Missis– sippi State University. Marriott Hotel in downtown Jackson, during which each student and faculty hon– oree is recognized in front of their guests. institution leaders, corporate sponsors and legislators. In addition to the public recognition, a booklet will be published featuring photos and biographical sketches of each honoree. Cantey is a sophomore at East Central, where she currently maintains a 4.0 grade point average. Her career goal is to attend medical school and work in pediattic emt·r– gency medicme. APresident's list scholar, she is a member ofTheta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, and serves as Vice Presi– dent for Leadership.
