1 Community project recognizes clubs,members

DECATUR - The Com– munity Rural Development Project of Newton County recognized Its clubs and members for outstanding accomplishments through– out the year during its 64th annual banquet held Dec. 11 in the Gold Room at East Central Community College. Dinner and door prizes were provided. Pam Kennedy was awarded first place as sec– retary for the Liberty Club, - Bobbye Cook got second place as secretary for Cone– hatta Club and Wardene Mason received third place as secretary for the Lawrence Club.
