ECCC's Award-Winning Softball Players Pbr:Ne are members of the 2014 East Central Community College fast1>itch softball team who received honors at the Spring Sports Banquet held recently on the Decatur campus. Award winners and their respective high schools include (seated fromleft) Kendra Wilson of South Lamar (Ala.) High School, Pitching Award and MACJC All-State; Kaylln Hopkins of Loulsvllle, Base Running Award; MalloryTumer of West Lauderdale, Hustle Award; and (standingfrom left) Makayla Kelly of Nedertand (Texas) High School, Lady Warrior Award; Ty Buckley of Neshoba Central, Most Valuable Player, Most Outstanding Offense, MACJC Player of the Year, All-Region 23 and MACJC Al~te; and Haley Stephens of Union, Most Improved. Bucidey was among the nation's top sluggers as she tied two other players for most home runs with 20 and posted a .408 batting awrage with 66 RBis.
