ECCC golfers finish 7th in Meridian event
Copiah-Lincoln, 485 (32(). 159); ECCC; Northeast Mississippi, 493 (332-161); Hinds, 495 (343-152); and Itawamba, 501 (33&-165). Aaron Tucker led the Warriors with rounds of 78 and 40 for a 118 total. Tucker is a product of Leake Central High School.* Other top scorers were Sawyer Williams (83-39) and Kartlon Ginn (84-38), who tied at 122. Williams is a product of Parkers Chapel High School in Eldorado, Ark, and Ginn hails from Franklinton (La.) High School. Jonathan Amis, a Newton County High School product, shot 128 (86-42), followed by Taylor York of Choctaw Central, 129 (87-42); Sam Williams of Newton CountyAcademy, 135 (92 43); and MichaelJones of Forest, 138 (95-43).

MERIDIAN - Golfers representing East Central Community College par ticipated in MACJC Event No. 3 Monday and Tuesday at Northwood Country Club in Meridian. The Warriors linksters posted a score of490 (331 159) in the 27-hole event, which was won by Meridian Community Col lege's 463 (31&-147). Com petition was shortened to nine holes on the second day due to inclement weather. Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College fin ished second at467 (314 153), followed by North west Mississippi (321-147) and Jones Count, (31(). 152) at468.
