ln the men's contest, EC was outscored 78-68 and fell for the second time this season to the Bulldogs, who escaped with a 68-65 decision in the season opener in Decatur. Jacques Johnson was again the top scorer for EC (2-2), as the 6-4 sophomore guard/forward from Jackson Provine poured in 25 points. Johnson connected on nine of 19 field goals, made two o~ seven shots from three-point rdllge, and was five of six from

points and led East Central Community College's Lady Warriors to a hard-fought 81-79 victory over Holmes Community College Monday night in Goodman. EC improved to 3-1 follow– ing the non-division matchup and swept the season series with the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Warriors cruised 76-63 in the season opener at Brackeen– Wood.

Also scoring in double fig– ures was Quinton Campbell, who bad 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Campbell, a 6-7 freshman forward, is a product of Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile.
