ECCC Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Jimmy Hollingsworth of Lake was guest speaker. ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart and Vice President for Instruction Dr. Teresa Houston also provided remarks. EC staff members Amanda Walton, Chris Ryals and Jenna Wright serve as Theta Xi advisers. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society on American higher education with more t han two million members and 1,200 chapters located in t he 50 United States, U.S. territories, Canada and Germany.
