F om1er Rocket McKee named MACJC all-state

College pitcher Caleb McKee was named first team MACJC All-State. The southpaw from Neshoba

County High School; right-hand pitchers Fernando Gonzal~z of Puerto Rico. Blake Dubutsson of Lon<> Beach High School and Severit~O Signa of Stoneville, a product of Deer Creek High School: and first baseman Rubert Alcantara, a Dominican Republic native. Other players rc<:eiving team honor~ include third baseman Maxwell Hannon of Meridian, who was selected most valuable defensive player and most improved position player: and outfielder Terrance Steele of Neshoba Central, a co-recipient of the Jamie CJark Memorial Award. After capturing the MACJC State Championship. the Diamond Warriors won one of two matchups in the Region 23 Tournament to finish 32-21 unde1 seventh-year head coach Neal Holliman.
