More than 416 graduates are scheduled to receive diplomas Saturday, May 11, when East Central Commu– nity College holds its 84th commencement beginning at 11 a.m. in the Neshoba County Coliseum in Philadelphia. Included in the total are those who completed degree requirements following the 2012 summer and fall terms, according to Dr. Teresa Houston, vice president for instruction. Those participating in the program include graduating Hophomores Cain Prestage of Carthage, who will give the invocation; Andrew Hanna of Union, commence– ment speaker; and Claire Griffin of Decatur, benedic– tion. Griffin, Sandy Alexan– der of Little Rock, Robin Coker of Newton and Alex Weir of Philadelphia will present the musical selec– tion "When You Believe." Houston will present can– didates for graduation and college president Billy W.
