Several concerts are sched– uled in April by various per– forming groups of the East Central Community College Band Department, announced Hunter Corhern, director of . Bands. ' The ECCC "Night of Percus– . sion" will be held at 7 p.m. on April18 in HuffAuditorium on the Decatur campus. In addition to performances by ECCC's Mallet Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble, percussion groups from Leake Central High School and Meridian High School will perform. Door prizes will also be pro– vided. ECCC's "Night of Jazz" is scheduled at 7 p.m. on April 25 in Huff Auditorium. The College's Jazz Band will be the featured performers. A "doubleheader" of music takes place on April29 on the Decatur campus. The Concert Band will per– form an outdoor concert of movie scores and pop music at 3:30 p.m. at the Pavilion next to the walking track on North Campus.
