Numerous area residents recetved their high school equivalency diplomas at the semi-annual GED Graduation held Jan. 24, 2013, at East Central Community College in Decatur. Mississippi Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves was guest speaker for the ~pecial ceremony, held in Huff Audatorium. ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart awarded diplomas to the 33 graduates. Other program participants representing the College included Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Jamrny Hollingsworth of Lake, Vice President for Instructaon Dr. Teresa Houston, music instruc– tor Len Bobo and Adult Basic Education/GED instructor Bryan Burt Graduates Ashly Thompson of Forest and Johnathon Scott of Canhage also parncipated m the program and provided testimo– naals.
