The Diamond Warriors, who trailed 3-0 after six innings, exploded for seven runs in the seventh inning thanks to timely bitting and several Delta errors. EC tied the contest when East Webster High School product Jordan Mixon slapped an RBI single, and took the lead for good at 4-3 when Zach May of Newton County High School was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.Three runs came across the plate fol– lowing bases-loaded walks dur– ing the inning. 1\vo other runs were attributed to errors. T'un Anderson contributed an RBI single during the inning and later scored.
