EC golfer Patterson qualifies for nationals East Central Community College golfer Shelby Patterson (left) of Forest received All– Region 23 honors and qualified for the NJCAA Division II National Championship follow– ing competition in the NJCAA Region 23, Division II Tournament held April 22-23 on the Azaleas course at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Choctaw. Patterson recorded rounds of 74 and 78 for a 152 total and finished tied for fourth in the individual competition. The Warrior golf team placed third with a 634 (312-322) total in the 36-hole contest, won by Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's 615 (311 -304). At right is Chris Clark, golf coach at East Central, which served as tournament host. The national tournament is · • scheduled May 21 -24 at the Goose Pond Colony Golf Club in Scottsboro,Ala.
