Gulf Coast backup quarterback Terian Page connected with Dahaqulle Williams on a 4-yard touchdown pass with 6:091eft in the second quarter. TJ McCainn added a 20-yard run before the first half expired to take a 42-0 lead into the break. McCainn added the Bulldogs final score with 39 seconds left in the third quarter. With the loss, East Central fell to 1-8 on the season (0-6 MACJC South) while Gulf Coast finishes the regular season at8-l (5-1).

The East Central Community College football team's first season under Ken Karcher came to a close after a 49-7 loss to No. 5 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Decatur on Thursday night. Six costly turnovers put the game out of reach for the warriors as the Bulldogs scored in the first three quarters.
