Coach Tony Dungy to speak at ECCC event

Former National Football League head football coach Tony Dungy will be the guest speaker at an East Central Community College– sponsored program scheduled March 28, 2014, at t he Neshoba County Coliseum in Philadelphia. Coach Dungy, who will visit the EC cam– pus in Decatur prior to the event, will partici– pate in a fundraising effort for the Warrior football program, led by first-year h ead coach Ken Karcher, a longtime friend and associate. Coach Dungy, who retired from coaching in 2008 after a success– ful career which included a 2007 Super Bowl victory with the Indianapolis Colts, now serves as an ana-

lyst for ~BC's Football Night in America. He is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Quiet Strength and Uncommon. In addition, Coach Dungy is involved in a wide variety of charita– ble organizations, including t h e Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Athletes in Action, Mentors for Life, Big Brother s/Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs, Prison Crusade Ministry, All-Pro Dads and many others.
