Receives Myers Scholarships at ECCC Sam lovom and Zach Peden, both graduates of Neshoba Central High School, are the recipients of the Ben Myers Memorial Scholarships at East Central Community College in Decatur. These scholarships were established in memory of Ben Myers, a 1997 graduate of East Central Community College who lost his life in an automobile accident in 1998. The awards were presented during the annual AT&T Scholarship Awards Program held June 8 in Huff Auditorium. A luncheon was held in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria following the awards ceremony. During the 2012 event, 136 students received 111 endowed or annual scholar– ships totaling approximately $74,000 in value. (EC Photo)
