Students receive supervisors' scholarships Neshoba County residents, second, from left, Jonathan Tindol, a graduate of Leake Academy, and D.J. Creekmore and Kayla Estes, both graduates of Neshoba Central High School, are recipients of Mississippi Association of Supervisors Scholarships at East Central Community College in Decatur. Also pictured are Neshoba County supervisors Marty Sistrunk, left, and Kevin Cumberland, right. The scholarships were established in 1996 by the Mississippi Association of Supervisors for each of the state's 15 community~unior col– leges. They are awarded to three full-time students from each county in the ECCC district. The awards were presented during the annual AT&T Scholarship Awards Program held June 8 in Huff Auditorium. A luncheon was held in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria following the awards ceremony. During the 2012 event, 136 students received 111 endowed or annual scholarships totaling approximately $74,000 in value.
