ECCC Lady Warrior Soccer Award Winners These members of the 2011 East Central Community College women's soccer team received various honors at the annual Fall Sports Awards Banquet. Award winners and their respective high schools include (seated from left) Emily Lucy, Academic Award (3.971 GPA) and Kelsey Tadlock, Golden Boot Award and All-Region 23, both products of Newton County High School; and Lauren Shimfessel, hustle award, Newton County Academy; and (standing from left) Nikki Cumberland, team captain award and MACJC All– State, Wendy McCracken Burns, team captain award, and Erin Thornton, Warrior Award, all from Newton County High School. Tadlock led the MACJC North Dhision in scoring with 12 goals, two assists, and 26 total points. She finished sixth in scoring overall. She was the only freshman selected on the All-Region 23 team.
