Resolutions presented Dr. Phil A. Sutphin (center) was presented resolutions of commenda– tion from the Mississippi Senate and Mississippi House of Representatives in recognition of his service as East Central Community College's president as part of activities held Sun day, May 6 on the Decatur campus. Associate Degree Nursing/Child Development Technology Building, which was officially named and ded– icated in Dr. Su tphin's honor as declared by ECCC Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Jimmy Hollingsworth of Lake. The ECCC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to rename the facility at the April 2012 meeting, "in recognition of Dr. Sutphin's years of loyal service to the College and his leadership in h elping secure the nursing/child– care programs on the Decatur cam– pus."
