Sophomore guard Ja'Monica Orton led EC with a season high 32 points. She was also the top r.ebounder with 11. Orton is a product of Walter E. Stebbins High School in Dayton, Ohio. Also scoring were Bell with 11 points, Jaianah Matthew with 10, Kelcia Bufkin with seven, Inessa Adams with six, and ~Jakela Johnson with five. Jeraldine Campbell had 29 points to lead East Mississippi, 1-3.

ECmen 54 The Warriors suffered a 32-point rout Thursday at Scooba. Sophomore guard Jimmie Broomfield led the Warriors, 0-7, with 15 points and seven rebounds. Other point makers were Steven Fuller with 10, Bobby Wrench and Nafa Maring with seven each, and Thomas Straughter and Cordarion Nichols of Newton with four each. D.J. Evans pumped in 20 points to lead the No. 17 Lions, who .improved to 3-1. =
