Stokley named ECCC cheerleadingsponsor from combined reports in2010.

Agraduate of South Choctaw Academy in Toxey, Ala., Stokley continued his education at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, where he was a Presi– dent's Ust scholar and member of Phi Theta Kappa International and the Uons' baseball team. In addi– tion, he served as asportswriter for the EMCC campus newspaper. After receiving an Associate of Arts degree at EMCC, Stokley attended the University of Alabama, where he received a bachelor's degree In biology. He also served as varsity cheerleader and was selected one of 14 Col– legiate All-Americans by Inside Cheerleading Magazine. The golf tournament was held at Lakeview Golf Course on Tuesday, May 17.The two top teams each had ascore of 60; the winning team was Roy Hayes, Howard Combs, Gerald Early and JimWilliams. Runners-up were Brownie Ford, James Dillard, Marshall McKee and Lamar Thomas. Coming in third place were Robert Barnett, Shorty Vaughn, Billy Joe Jones and Leslie McClinton. Tournament was held at Meridian Activity Center. The winner in that game was Tommy Coats, with T.C. Stokley has also instructed private camps and clinics for the University ofAlaball}a, University of Kentucky, Mississippi State University,Auburn University, Uni– versity of North Alabama, Univer– sity ofSouthern Mississippi, Faulkner State Community Col– lege, IU!wamba Community Col– lege and the University ofWest Alabama. In addition, he served as lead instructor at Cheer ETC in Philadelphia and was amember of cheerleader instructional staffs for the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA), Cheer Authority inTuscaloosa and ACE All-Stars in Birmingham. He also served as fiead of the tumbling department at the Demopolis Children's Art Center. Stokley, anMCCAA certified cheerleader instructor, also has extensive experience judging cheerleading competttion on the high school and college levels.

DECATUR - Patrick Stokley was recently selected cheerleader sponsor at East Central Commu– nity College, announced athletic director Chris Harris. Stokley, who joined the ECCe faculty as biology instructor in the fall of2009, was an All· American Stokley cheerleader at the Umvef'Sity ofAlabama and successfully led cheerleading squads on the JUnior high, high school and communrty college levels. He led the New Hope Junior High School cheerleading squad to the 2007 national champi– onship and won state titles the same year while leading New Hope High School and Starkville Academy cheer squads. He also claimed state championships while directing squads at Philadelphia High School in 2009 and at Neshoba Central High School and Leake Academy, both
