Chisolm, a sophomore from Neshoba Central, belted a three-run shot in the first inning and gave EC a quick 3-0 lead. In addition to her home run, IJolsen, a Union product, was 'credited wtth a single and two RBls. Brittany Cochran of Newton County added a double and a single and col– lected two RBI. Other sluggers were Lauren Nicholas of Neshoba Central, two singles; and Newton County products Kasic Buckley, double, and Summer Alexander, single. Buckley also had an RBI. Taylor Batley ( 13-6) went the distance to notch the win. Bailey a1lowed nine hits, fanned five and walked one in the seven– inning matchup. Hailey Chisolm and Paige Holsen both homered in leading EC to an 8-1 victory in the opener, and l lolsen, Hannah Lee and Taylor Bailey registered dingers in the sec– ond contest in a I0-8 decision. The Lady Warrion:. improved to 29-8-1 overall following the sweep and arc currently 11 -7 in league play. Gulf Coast leads the South at 12-4. Co-Lin is third at 9-7 and Pearl River fourth, with a 9-9 record. Rounding out the division are Southwest at 8-8; Jones, 6- 12; and Hinds, 3-13.
