Lee 'slams' win for ECCC Hannah Lee's grand

With the spht, East Central's record stands at 29-8-1 overall and 9-7 in the MACJC South Divi– sion. In addition to Lee, a Leake Academy product, and Chisolm, who hails from Neshoba Central, other EC sluggers in the opener were Kasie Buck– ley of Newton County, three singles and a RBI; Paige Holsen of Union and Lauren Nicholas of Neshoba Central, double and single each. Bailey also picked up

the win and improved to 12-5 on the season. In the second contest, EC jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning and held a 7-1 advantage until Pearl River rallied in the sixth inning to earn a split of the division dou– bleheader. Ch1solm belted a two– run homer and Alexander had two doubles. Lee checked in with a single. Bailey took the loss, falling to 12-6 after reliev– ing in the sixth inning.

The Lady Diamond Warriors were unable to complete the sweep, as the Lady Wildcats rallied for seven runs in the bot– tom of the sixth to claim an 8-7 victory.
