ALEXANDER RECEIVES ECCC SCHOLARSHIP

Tracy Alexander (left) of Forest is a recent recipient of a·non-traditional student tuition scholarship for full-time students provided at East Central Community College in Decatur. She received the award from Joe Killens (right), vice president for student services. The scholarship is available to Mississippi residents at least 23 years of age who meet stated qualifications. The award provides tuition for three consecutive semesters of coursework after students complete 12 semester hours of credit as a part-time or full-time student at ECCC. Alexander, 40, is a pre-nursing major and 1987 graduate of Lake High School. She is married to David Alexander. They have a son, Erik.
