SIMULATORSASSIST EC NURSING STUDENTS

East Central Community College Practical Nursing students Schanda Wilson of Meridian, left, and Carmen Braddy of Forest practice the1r nursing skills on NOELLE, a birthing mannequin simulator, and her newborn, HAL, which were acquired earlier this year with proceeds from a grant awarded by Johnson and Johnson's Promise of Nursing initiative. With the new technology, instructors are able to program the mannequins to produce multiple symptoms and students must react just as in a hospital setting.
