Allen serves as minister of education at First Baptist Church in Senatobia; Leslie is a for– mer office space designer and is now a house parent at Big Oak Boys Ranch in Gadsden, AL; and Lori is a former art director for Mis– sissippi Magazine and is now a stay-at-home moth– er and lives in Brandon. Daughter Debbie Jones died ofbreast cancer at age 32. They also have seven grandchildren. Winstead's first wife, the former Mary Gilmore ofStonewall, died in 1987. Winstead completed his bachelor's degree from Mississippi State Universi– ty in 1958 and completed additional graduate work at Mississippi State Uni– versity and the University of Oldahoma.
