The East Central men climbed to within one game of .500 with a' two-point win over homestanding South– west Thursday night. EC led 33-32 at the half and held on for the win. Freshman Josh Luckett led East Central with 20 point while Newton Coun– ty's Scooter Walker had 13 points, and Justin Brown 11. Darrion Maxiton added seven points whileMarquis Wilson had six points. Hinds men 62, ECCC 59 The Warriors suffered another tough loss, this one being a three-point defeat to the visiting Eagles Mon– day night. Mter trailing by five at half, '32-27, the Warriors fought back to make it close at the end. Josh Luckett led East Central with 17 points while Marquis Wilson added 14 points. Scooter Walker had 11 points and Darrion Maxiton chipped in eight.
