stumble at Southwest r"\ ton RnorJ The East Central Com– munity College Lady War– riors suffered their second loss of the season on the hardwood in a 13-point loss to Southwest Community College. The Lady Warriors rebounded from Thurs– day's loss to post a 68-56 win over Hinds on Monday, night to improve to 12-3 on the season. It was the third loss in five contests for the Lady Warriors since returning from the Christmas break. Both East Central teams will return to acton on Thur.sday when they host Gulf Coast Community College. Next week, EC will hit the road for a South Division contest against Pearl River before return· ing home on Thursday, Jan. 31 for a matchup with Jones. lilt

. Five Lady Wolves scored m double figures as South- west took a 13-point win over the Lady Warriors. Southwest led 35-29 at the half and then outscored East Central 47-40 in the ~ond-half to cruise to the wm. Tanesha Brown led the La_dy Warriors with 30 pomts while Mystee Dale had 18 points. The homestanding Lady W?lves improved to 11-2 With the win. Newton's Tawaytha Evans chipped in eight points.
