RECEIVES VICKERS SCHOLARSHIP: Elise Gtbbs (left) a 2008 graduate of Newton County High School, is the recipient of the Ovtd S and Carol VIckers Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarship was established in 1999 by former students and friends of the Vickers to honor their lifettme devotion to East Central Pictured w1th the recipient 1s ECCC academic counselor Lanette Hanna. The award was presented dunng the College's annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, June 12 tn Mabry Memonal Cafetena.
