These East Central Community College students from Winston County are among recent Inductees of Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges. They join approximately 90 new members of the prestigious organization who were welcomed during the annual spring induction ceremony held on the Decatur campus. Pictured are (first row, from left) Anna White, Kayla Adcock and Jacqueline Moore, and (back row, from left) Brltni Wright, Laken Morgan, Whitney Smith and Lindsey Clark, all of Louisville. The pur– pose of Phi Theta Kappa is to promote scholarship, develop character and cultivate fellowship among academically superior students. Membership is by invitation only and requires a mini– mum 3.5 grade point average earned as a full-time student. ECCC faculty members Debbie Ham– mons and Bruce Guraedy serve as advisers.
