FOOTBALL South wins MACJC Classic BOONEVILLE - Co-Lin Community College quarter- . back Micah Davis' 5-yard touchdown pass to Hinds' Ver· nor Wolfe with 58 seconds left in the third quarter proved decisive Saturday and the South beat the North 16-14 in the MACJC All-Star Classic. The North scored a fourth– quarter TO on Holmes' James Jackson's 3-yard run, and Jackson also scored on a 20- yard pass from Coahoma's Marvin Pittman in the second quarter. Davis ran for a 2-yard TO in the first quarter, and the South got a 21-yard field goal from East Central's Derek Cren– shaw in the second quarter. The North's lead 1n the series was cut to 17-16-2.
