East Central Community College head baseball coach Neal Holliman took advantage of the early signing period by welcoming 11 new squad members to the 2008 recruiting class during a ceremony held Tuesday on the Decatur campus. Stokes was named to the All-Division 5-3A team and received the Diamond Tigers' best offensive player award. Wilson a lso made the All-Division 5-3A squ ad and received the Diamond Cougars'

Davis is abo a recipient of the most versa– tile and ERA awards, uring the 2007 campaign, he po~ted a 7-2 mark on the mound with a 1.65 earned run average. He fanned 63 batters in 7'L inning~ of work. lit• also had a .362 batting average. Smith batted .:ifi5 his junior year and received the most improved player award.
