Tanesha Brown drained four 3-pointcrs to help stake EC to a 29-12 lead. It was Southeastern's largest deficit of the season and it was ob\ious the Lady Falcons didn't like it one bit. Southeastern answered with a 21-5 rally that trimmed the lead to one before the Lady Warriors took a 36-33 lead into halftime. "We knew what we were up against, so we just came out loose as a goose and played our best half of bas– ketball all year in the first half," EC coach Bill Sm1th said. "I think they realized they were about to get upset by a bunch of mighty mites from Mississippi and they started playing.

"We couldn't get anything in the post against their size and that was the d1fference in the game. It's tough to match up 5-8 and 5-9 girls against 6-5 and 6-3, but I'm proud of the way we played and the · way we hustled." Brown led EC with a game-high 19 points.
