ECCC hosts First Annua\ PowWow

Native American cultural dances will be performed a nd various arts and crafts will be on display when the first annu– al "Warrior Pow Wow" is held 1 Saturday, Feb. 10, on the East Central Community Coll ege campus in Decatw·. Sponsored by the Co~lege's Native American Associahon Club, the free event is sched– uled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. al Warrior Stadium. In case of rain, activities will be moved lo the South Campus gym. Many of the arts and ~rafts on display will also be ~va1l~ble for purchase as will vanous food items, according to club mem– ber Christma Thomas of Conehatta. Thomas invites the public to attend the event a.nd leat.O more about Native Americ~n customs.
