ECCC swept by Co-Lin

Valerie Harris had 13 points for ECCC in the first 20 minutes with Evans getting seven and Tancsha Brown and Andrea Dubose both getting five. The Lady Warriors were slug– gish offensively to start the second half as they manap:ed just four points over the first 12 and a half minutes. Co-Lin fared little better. but eight points gave the Lady Wolves a 43-42 lead. The Co-Lin lead grew to 48-42 when Alisha Mason buried a 3-pointcr with just over 6 minutes left. "We just didn't come out with enough spark,'' said ECCC coach Billy Smith. "Of course. they had a lot to do with it. We had an opportunity to go up seven or eight points to start the second half and we just couldn't get a shot to fall and we had quite a fe\l turnovers. We never could gd a comfortable lead." But the batUe wasn't over. Brown and Dubose each connected from behind the arc to put ECCC up 5:~- 51 with 4:05 to go. He scored 15 points oVer the final 6:52, including a 13-of-16 showing at lhe free throw line.
