East Central 0 The Eagles improved to 14-2 with a 9-0 blanking of the Warriors in Meridian Tuesday. In singles action, Scott McNamara won 6-1. 6-1 over James Harris, while Nicolas Zabrodiec won 6-0, 6-1 over John Harris. MCC's Mickey Renfroe won 6-0, 6-0 over Wade Brown; Blake Sherman won 6-0, 6-0 over Austin Scoggin; Joseph Meek won 6-1, 6-3 over Matthew Wilkerson; Scott Truesdale won 6-1, 6-0 over Josh Moore; Justin Newman won 6-0, 6-3 over Noah Cook; and Daniel Rus– sell won 6-2, 6-0 over Joseph Cieglo. MCC women East Central 0 The Lady Eagles had no trouble with the Lady War– riors, improving to 14-3 on the spring season with the win at Northeast Park. MCC's top three singles players won 6-0, 6-0, including Sierra Woolery over Dru Anderson, Alycia Le Merle over Briana Stinson and Laine Denuex over Maggie McDill. Leslie Bunn defeated . - ~- Chelsea Brown 6-3, 6-0, Jodi Webb won 6-0, 6-0 over Julie Gaines and Molly Moon beat Nichole Ball 6-0, 6-2. In doubles action, Woolery and Lc Merle won 8-0 over Anderson and Stinson; Denuex and Bunn won 8-3 over Kim Cleveland and Mandy Dennis; and Moon and Webb won 8-4 over McDill and Brown. -Rocky Higginbotham 9
