RECEIVES PHILLIPS SCHOLARS IP: Sopho– more Sarah Eakes, a gradu– ate of Newton County High School, is the 2007 rec1pient of the Charles P. and Bonme Saxon Ph1lhps Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. Th1s scholarship was established in 2005 by Mr. and Mrs. Phillips and was presented during the College's annual AT&T Scholarship Apprecia– tion Luncheon held Thurs– day, June 14, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
