Wilkes-Palmer Scholarship award

Kayla Adcock (left), a 2007 graduate of Winston Academy, Is the recipient of the Wilkes-Palmer Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarship was established in 1998 by the late Elgie Chatham in honor of her parents, J. Earl and Willie Palmer Wilkes. Pic– tured with the recipient is ECCC academic counselor Lanette Hanna. The award was presented during the College's annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, June 14, In Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
