Receives Harris Scholarship Kimberly Williams, center, of Meridian, a first-year associate degree nursing student, is the recipient of the Nancy Hiett Harris Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarship was established in 1998 with a gift from an anonymous donor who had a keen interest in enhancing the qual– ity of the College's ADN program. Harris (pictured at left) was the first director of the ECCC ADN program and spearheaded the College's achievement of initial state and national accreditation. Also pictured is Harris' husband, Johnie Harris. The award was presented during the College's annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, June 14, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
