NONTRADITIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED: Two Nontraditional Scholarships were awarded at Newton County Career and Technical Center Awards Day Program held at ECCC. The two students receiving the scholar– ships were from left: Sarah Eakes, a completer 111 the Agricultural and Environmental Science Technology Program, and Shaun Cooper, a completer in the Business and Computer. Tech– nology Program. These students demonstrated satisfactory academic standing and made out– standing contributions to their programs. The Non raditional Scholarships are given to recog– nize and encourage student interest in pursuing careers that are not traditional for their gender.
