Needing to win three out of their four softball games last week to secure their third straight MACJC Central Division · championship, the East Central Community College Lady Warriors did just that, sweeping Meridian and splitting with Hinds. In going 3-l, EC improved to 12-4 in .the division and 28-18 overall and clinched a berth in the MACK' state tournament at Senatobia this weekend. The Lady Warriors won seven of their last eight division .games. '·I am extremely proud of the job these young ladies have done. We started off with an extremely difficult schedule, which may have gotten us prepared for division play.
