Miss. Delta 1-1 The Lady Warriors swept a pair from the Lady Trojans. winning 9-1 in the opener and 13-1 in the nightcap to improve to 7-9 on the season. l In the first game. Kady Chandler got the win by striking· out seven in fivt: innings of work. She allowed six hits and one earned run. Sondreia Hillic had a three– run homer, a double and SIX RBls to lead ECCC, while Loren Kennedy had three sin– gles. Sheniquc Brass had a single and a double and Lindsey Stevens also had a double. In the second game, ECCC had 14 hits - with Brass get· ting a double. two singles and three RBis. Candace Griffin added a pair of doubles and two RBis. Chandler was again the win– ning pitcher, giving up four hib and one run in four innings. ECCC begins play today in Lhe Pearl River Tournament in Hattiesburg. -Rocky Higgi11botllam
